We would like to thank all the stakeholders who have taken the time and effort o register as well as to participate in the process to date. We also to thank all the attendants of he Focus Group meetings and the public meeting.

As you may be aware, Amari Land has embarked on the EIA process for environmental authorisation of the development of a 900ha piece of land, into a mixed-use development ocated around the Lanseria International Airport, in Gauteng. This process would include onducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the compilation of a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for the proposed development.

Although preliminary findings of the specialist studies have been presented during the initial stages of stakeholder consultation, these studies are in the process of being finalised. Strategic Environmental Focus (SEF) (Pty) Ltd would therefore like to notify you that the project is still active.

All registered Interested and Affected Parties will kept up to date regarding the next phase of Public Participation in due course.
Please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Tebogo Mokgejane, should you wish to obtain further information.

A query has been lodged, and followed up, regarding the availability of a  Scoping Report, and the time line of events going forward.  No response has been received as yet.

The press is often updated on this project, and the reports read as though the project is a "done-deal".
