New buffer for the Cradle extends to RNC

The Environmental Management Framework (EMF) for the Cradle of Humankind has mapped a new buffer area.  The comment period on this, and the management zones for the region, closes on 2 March 2011.
SRK Consulting was appointed to complete the EMF, and public consultation commenced in 2009. The process has been slow, but is now in the final stage leading up to promulgation.
The composite map, including the management zones and the changes to the buffer, may be downloaded until end of the project from the SRK Consulting website.  This direct link is to a PDF file of 1.3mb
