Rammed Earth - the decorative option
Published on Friday, 06 March 2009 09:36
Alastair Armstrong is building a "decorative rammed-earth" house in Northriding. This is an architect's house and he is determined to go green-greener-greenest, with solar power and all the alternative stuff. The place is in a lovely part of Northriding, with indigenous bush and trees which he wants to disturb as little as possible.
Solar heating systems

I was tempted to e-mail all of you an interesting and comprehensive book on solar water heating systems (including detailed building instructions).
But it is over 9 MB large!
So if you are interested, please download it yourself. (Note this link opens a page where you can select sections/articles or elect to download it all).
Here you will also find many other plans and resources on solar water heating.
